Rob's eyes widen as the hologram vanishes. Science fiction has long since left him with the subconscious assumption that "android" means "a machine that looks like a human in a metal suit" or possibly "a machine that has all the core traits of human appearance in some form". A bipedal dog was not even remotely what he was expecting to see, and it pretty much overrides his curiosity about how Erek functions it's so unexpected.

"I'm... I'm guessing you weren't built by humans then, eh?"
