There's no magic fix, no perfect thing to say or do that will make her happy, that will take away the tinges of sadness. Just like there's nothing she can do to smooth away the scars on his face and his mind. There's nothing she can do to make him get better any faster.

"Hey, it's not you Psii..." Her voice gentles and she mirrors the hand on her cheek with one on his own, "The world was shitty and unfair to us and I just want you to be happy and get better. I know it won't happen all at once, but I want that. That'll make me happy."
