Colin eyes his reaction to his words, and he smirks slightly. There will be time enough for that later. He's got a valid question, and one that he actually doesn't know much of what to do with.
"Carpentry, carpentry," Colin says to himself, putting his hand under his chin. He extends his index finger and starts to tap it against his cheek. "That's actually a good question, there isn't much use for carpentry in space. Your best bet would likely be to talk to Stewart, Georges, or Mirielle. They strike me as the ones who would have the best run-down on skills here. I know practically nothing about carpentry on a basic level."
He turns and looks around his workshop appraisingly. "Most of my equipment is set up to use for metalworking," he says. "But I can probably build you the tools you'd need pretty easily. Carpentry tools aren't that different from other tools, just geared for wood rather than metal."
