Day 201 [Open]
Who: Edea and anybody
Open: Open
When: Day 201
Where: Northern Bastion, near the Skyway entrance
What: A new and very tired survivor arrives.
Format: I'll match yours
Warnings: none
Suddenly the world had changed and she was alone. Neither fact sat well with Edea. But after a tough battle in her own world and a few encounters with the lower level monsters on the Skyway with no rest in between, she had to make her way towards the only obvious sign of civilization. Her search for answers and the other Warriors of Light would have to continue another time. She could not allow herself to be killed before then.
When she eventually reaches the Bastion the girl is thoroughly exhausted. She doesn't bother searching for an Inn, simply finding the nearest wall or building she can lean up against and seats herself. As much as she wants to sleep Edea forces herself to stay awake- eyes on the lookout for her friends but hand on the sheathed blade at her hip in case an enemy should find her instead.

"Well, aside from the obvious, which is everything blowing up," he said with a wry smile, "There's a plague of some sort going around right now. Not everyone has it, of course, but it came from out there," he concluded, gesturing with his free hand to the Skyway.
"Containing it has been more of a trial than anything, but there are good, smart people working on an answer. That's why I say its all complicated. Usually there are people walking around all over the place, ready to help a new face. Lately we're having enough trouble helping ourselves. But before you panic, its not any safer outside. At least in here people are bound to find a cure. Out there by yourself, no one would be able to help."

She feels a bit uneasy relying on a stranger for help (even if he is being very polite). Mostly because she's gotten so used to knowing most everyone her party encountered that meeting any stranger at all is weird. It would have taken her longer to get anywhere without Rowan's support though, so she will gladly put up with being uncomfortable.
"If my friends are here one of them would be of more use than I. They're much more suited to using healing arts."

"I feel terribly useless right now. Odd, how an illness can show you just how little your previous success and achievements really ever meant. I wish I could do more but...well, I suppose its give me the unique opportunity to escort and assist someone new. I know I was grateful for help when I got it, so hopefully this is as useful to you," Rowan remarked with a warm smile.
"If your friends are out there, I promise we'll do everything we can to help them get here. Its what we all do. Its a safe place and we want to rescue everyone we can."
