The Bulrathi were some of the fiercest fighters the galaxy had ever known.

Nobody could take them head-to-head. If a Bulrathi ship made landfall, a colony was basically lost to them. Humanity was put on the ropes by the Bulrathi in the great war.

It was the Darlok empire that brought the Bulrathi to heel. Not by direct combat, but by playing against their weaknesses. Manipulating them, sabotaging them, and turning them against their allies.

Brute force is all well and good.... it just pays to know a little bit about trickery when the chips are down. All the strength in the world won't do you any good if you don't know where to direct it.
