Seimei arrives shortly after the mingling hits its real upswing, drawn in by the sounds and smells and general liveliness of the gradually growing gathering. Normally one to keep himself away from all the noise and sense of community, it had occurred to him that if he was going to have anything to do with Kaoru, he would have to learn to intermingle with the society they were all creating. He would have to get past the pinch of tension between his shoulders and the regular onslaught of headaches brought on by too many emotions and voices.

It didn't change the minor anxiety he felt trying to be part of a community instead of apart from it. It simply wasn't in his nature. Still, he made the effort.

Leaving his house work behind, the onmyoji drifts towards the Distillery and lingers on the outskirts, his interest on the table of food apparently open to everyone. Still, he didn't feel comfortable enough to really insert himself into everything, instead content to watch the others, amusement tickling his lips into the occasional fond smile.

So many children in this place; regardless of his misgivings, he often felt truly blessed to have been surrounded by so much youth and vitality. A strange and growing world built by dreamers instead of the jaded adults he was used to.
