Day 203 | The sick are recovering! (Open)
WHO: Colin, any recovering folks, any visitors.
OPEN: Open like a door
WHEN: Day 203 (BACKDATED)
WHAT: The cure has been found and administered. Check up on the sick, why don't you?
WHERE: The hospital
FORMAT: However you want, go nuts
WARNINGS: Recovering people, probable sass, and of course, Colin.
After six days of paranoia, and three days of absolute terror, things were finally looking up. A cure had been delivered, and with it, the calamity survivors had been able to synthesize more than enough doses of cure for the plague to safeguard the Bastion. It had been administered to the sick, and now all that was needed was to make sure that everyone recovered.
Colin, of course, was going to be visiting everyone to make sure that there weren't any complications. It wouldn't do to have anyone in danger after they'd made it through to the end. He had yet to take off his environmental suit though, his own paranoia was significant.
(OOC: I figure this will be a good opportunity for people to do a little more mingling, and get their bearings after the plague. The quarantine has been lifted, though Colin still wants people washing their hands frequently. If you want Colin to check up on the sick, he can do that! If you want someone else to check up on the sick, by all means! The threat is passed, now rejoice, hug your sick loved ones, and let's move on!)

Hey.
How are you doing?
no subject
Better. ... ish.
[cough]
Looks like you survived everythin' alright.
no subject
Yeah. I guess I did.
[Everyone's survived all right, she hopes. Ahime was hurt pretty badly.]
...I'm just glad we got it back in time.

[She frowns, thinking back on the encounter.]
They've probably had a rough time of it.

[Maybe she could've been more help if she'd been there. Shielded the others from the explosion?]
The others set of a booby trap, and triggered an explosion. Ahime got hurt, and about a dozen Ura showed up. I hear they just started shooting. The others were still trying to get away when we got there.
no subject
[Wait--]
Ura? There were Ura at that place?
no subject
[Whether it makes it any more likely that there are survivors from other worlds, like her own, or like Rin's she doesn't know. She isn't sure she wants to get her hopes up again.]
no subject
[she's not even concerned about the "other survivors" part of things.]
no subject
[She barely knows Zulf, it didn't occur to her to seek him out.]
no subject
[Right, he had been there. At least for part of the time. After he abandoned her, she had no idea if he'd been out of the hospital or not. Or even talked to anyone that had went.
She'll try and track him down later.
Maybe.
If he can even stand to see her again.]
no subject
...you think he'll want to find them? Bring them back here?
no subject
[Zulf had always made it pretty clear that Ura and Cael were not in good terms and that the Bastion was entirely a Cael creation.]
no subject
[She's thinking more of the fact they might not think too well of the Bastion's current residents. Especially her.]

A weapon like that should never have been made, much less used on anyone.
...
I can see why they wouldn't want to live with Caels, but I don't get why the Bastion itself would bother them.
no subject
No, but it was. Hell, my world was the same way, but with a lot more people involved. And, y'know. Demons in the background.
The Bastion was their creation, to protect them from this sorta thing. It was... planned. Caels live, Ura die.
no subject
That's obviously not its purpose now. And anyway in wartime, it would've been to their advantage to capture enemy technology like this.
